Public Awareness Campaign – Implementation of the Strategic Communications Plan on Solid Waste Management
The aim of the project is tapping various social problems by increasing public awareness of the importance of sanitary landfills and financially sustainable solid waste management through public participation. The Campaign activities are carried out in six regions: Sarajevo, Bihac, Mostar, Livno, Zenica and Tuzla.
The main target groups of the Campaign are representatives of relevant federal and cantonal ministries, educational institutions, municipal departments, NGOs, the media, industry, young population (primary and secondary schools) and the general public.
Type of services provided
The main project activities included:
Providing consulting services in the field of solid waste management throughout the Campaign
Public survey at the beginning and at the end of Campaign
Development of the promotional materials (brochures for adults and children, leaflet and poster)
Organization and implementation of the camp with children
Organization and implementation of the Coordination forum, seminars and public discussion. The main goal of these events is view of the current state and future needs of six regions in the field of solid waste management in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
